This is the original published version of the Almera Woodard Johnson Smith image, created in 2007. After receiving feedback that the image was not neutral in depicting the demeanor of Almera in that moment (i.e., she looked like she might be there against her will), I decided to change a couple of things to make that issue a little ambiguous. I took her hand out of Joseph's grasp, opened her eyes, and softened her facial expression to include a hint of a smile. That final revised version is HERE.
